QUASHNICK, BRADLEY ALAN “Brad”

Bradley “Brad” Alan Quashnick, 50, of Acampo, died at his family home on February 7, 2017.
Brad was born in Lodi, California on August 10, 1966 to Gottfred “Gus” and Barbara Quashnick. He was the youngest of 3 children.
He grew up on the family farm, attending school at Houston Elementary School, Lodi High School and most recently was very proud of obtaining advanced training in machine shop technology, welding technology and refrigeration at San Joaquin Delta College.
Brad had a very kind heart and a great love for his son James, family, friends, his German heritage and the 1933 Chevy half ton truck he was rebuilding. Brad cherished his relationships with others, always ready and willing to help or to even just lend a listening ear.
One of his most favorite activities was mining for gold at a shared claim above Sutter Creek. There he found true camaraderie with his friends while camping, hosting many bar-b-ques, mining for gold, and shooting his many firearms.
Brad is survived by his son James Quashnick, mother Barbara Quashnick, sister Diane (Joe) Nunes, brother Steve (Juli) Quashnick, 4 nieces, a nephew, and a great niece. His is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N School Street, Lodi, CA., from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1540 W. Lodi Ave., Lodi, CA., on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. followed by a luncheon in the church fellowship hall.
A private burial will be held in the afternoon for immediate family only.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Donahue Funeral Home.
